
Muuni Fund Takes Part In The National Youth Summit 2025
MACRA is mentored over 600 youth leaders through a partnership with the National Youth Council of Malawi (NYCOM) at the 2025 National Youth Summit in Lilongwe that took place from the 2nd to the 4th of July at the Bingu International Convention Centre, in Lilongwe. In partnership with the National Youth Council of Malawi (NYCOM), MACRA has been working to equip young people with digital skills, leadership mentorship, and innovation opportunities.
The summit, which has drawn participants from Malawi’s 28 districts and international delegates, is providing a platform to empower young people with digital skills, innovation opportunities, and leadership mentorship.
MACRA's Muuni Fund Project Officer, Joseph Kadzokoya, has highlighted how the Fund is driving youth-led digital innovation through seed funding, research, and partnerships turning local ideas into scalable, impactful solutions.
MACRA's Muuni Fund Project Officer, George M. Jana Jnr, led a session on Artificial Intelligence (AI), Digital Transformation, and the future of work. He stressed how AI is reshaping industries by automating tasks and creating new digital career paths, making tech skills more essential than ever.
