The Muuni team carried out an awareness campaign aimed at engaging Universities, Technical Colleges, Secondary schools, and Community radios.

The awareness program started in the Northern Region by engaging with community radios as it is a great way to bring awareness about the fund to both rural and urban areas in Malawi. The visits consisted of the following radio stations: Radio Tuntufye and Radio Dinosaur in Karonga. Chirundu Radio and Tigabane Radio in Mzuzu and Nkhatabay.

The Team then proceeded with its program by visiting the following academic institutions: St. John of God College of Health Sciences, Mzuzu Academy, University of Livingstonia, Mzuzu Technical College, and Mzuzu Government Secondary School.
