The Muuni Fund has completed its regional evaluations across all three regions of the country.

The evaluations commenced in the Northern Region at Zwangendaba House in Mzuzu, where twelve innovators, having received funding for prototype development, showcased their groundbreaking ideas and prototypes to a distinguished panel of judges representing the banking and finance sector, academia, and innovation expertise.

Subsequently, the evaluations moved to the Central Region, held at the Bingu International Convention Centre (BICC), where seventeen innovators presented their groundbreaking innovations to the judging panel. Lastly, the evaluations concluded in the Southern Region at Sunbird Mount Soche Hotel, where thirty-two innovators pitched their ideas to the judging panel.

The Muuni Fund has completed its regional evaluations across all three regions of the country.

These evaluations serve as an extension of the district evaluations conducted between November and December 2023, where the top two contenders from each district advanced as the Top 70 District Finalists.

Following the evaluations, successful innovators are expected to implement their solutions within the respective district councils they serve.
